convulsion, definition, types and causes

CONVULSION, DEFINITION TYPES AND  CAUSE 

 

        Previously,  I posted as regarding ULCER, The symptoms , causes, and treatment. Today's article will follow the same pattern, only that we will be focusing on a very common and delicate ailment  which is named CONVULSION.
        Not to miss the track,  I would like to give you the definition of convulsion as it was defined by  Wikipedia. "CONVULSION is a medical condition where body muscles contract and relax rapidly and repeatedly, resulting in an uncontrolled shaking of the body"
      Another often used name for convulsions is  seizure. Although, not all seizure are convulsions.
         The most common cases of convulsions are in children, most especially when they are about to produce their milk teeth.

 

  TYPES OF CONVULSION 


The type of convulsion are often named by the ailment that caused it. e.g epileptic seizure, 

CAUSES. 


The causes of convulsion  are many,  but I will mention not but a few. Below are the ailments that causes convulsion.

1 MALARIA 2) EPILEPSY 3) COLD 4) Allergies

SYMPTOMS OF CONVULSIONS

1) Body shake. 2) Irresistible Muscle Contractions 3) Jaw contractions 4) Breathing seizes temporarily 5) Drooling. 

        These and other symptoms do last for  minutes, during which the person may be resultitate back to normal life if given the first aid and may die if not. 

PREVENTION

1) avoid cold for children and adults 2) move away from what you are allergic to 3) treat malaria in the earlier stage.
