WHAT HEALTH IS AND HOW TO ACHIEVE SOUND HEALTH

   Health is the number one requirement of every living soul,especially man. Without sound health,there is nothing you can do successfully. The question you will want to ask is  ''What is health?'' Many people will want to define health as complete absence of disease. This statement is true.

     However,to understand fully what health is and what to achieve the sound health for individual needs,one should know that health doesn't end only with physical appearance. Therefore, to be healthy means to be healthy bodily,mentally and psychologically. With bodily healthy, you will be able to carry out your daily routine efficiently. With mental health, your response to stimuli should be accurate and precise. Nay,you will not be contradictory  in your utterances and performances.

    psychological health means a lot  in every human being. Positive psychological state of human being means a high level of health. This will save you from calamities of hypertension,stroke and host of other health challenges.In order to stay healthy, one needs to compliment the above facts with not only the knowledge of it but with practical steps to achieve the reality.

      To be physically healthy, that is bodily health,one should make sure every intake should be healthy. Eat fresh,well cooked foods and fruits. Avoid unripe fruit intake,unprocessed or semi-processed food. Never go alcoholic. Take only health complimentary drinks. Avoid high level sugary content drinks. Take sufficient water everyday.Remember,man is made up of 80% water.

    Furthermore, to be mentally healthy, you should undergo or  imbibe yourself in every activities that will promote you mentally. You should do enough exercises everyday. As you are exercising yourself,you are improving your physical and mental health. If you are a student , exercise opens the doors of your brain for easy assimilation. Soft games can also improves you mentally. But remember to do this for  improving yourself mentally and do not allow it to consume much of your time, so that you don't  regret doing so.

   psychological health happens to be the most serious of all the phases of good health. The reason is that we relates with fellow human being on this platform. Man acts out of normal when psychological health is on threat. Behaviour is inordinate, the utterances is  abnormal. Everything is out of order. The major cause of  this state is carelessness at higher level. It is this act of carelessness that lead man to psychological problem.To be psychologically fit, one should avoid alcoholism, drug, sleeplessness and a host of things that can render man useless,and out of human positive nature.

AN AUTOMOBILE IS THE CRAFT WORK OF MAN (Series 1)

An automobile is a craft work of man, The human body is a craft work of nature. An automobile consist of various parts and component neatly fitted together, the human body is an integration of several organs that forms a community. The engine is the core of an automobile, the brain is the central processing unit of the human body. Smoke exhaust, fumes are waste product of an automobile, similarly, sweat, excreta, urine are waste products of the human body. Basically, except for the ‘irritability’ characteristic in human beings, an automobile and the human body is similar in every way. Or else, if we say that automobiles consume fuel, diesel to release energy, then equivalently, the human body takes in oxygen, vegetables and fruits to release energy. So whats the difference? Apart from the fact that automobiles comes with an instruction manual or guide? A perfect example of an automobile, a power generator. In its instruction guide, you will read stuffs like fuel twice a day, service regularly, lubricate daily, highly flammable, keep from the reach of children and so on. In other words, the machine is to be maintained on a daily basis. Since we have concluded that the the human body is natural machine, it is proper and reasonable to say that maintenance is necessary as well. The maintenance of the human body in a proper state both internally and externally is called health. When we focus more on outward maintenance of the body, it is termed “FITNESS.” and the body that is properly maintained outwardly is described to be ‘FIT’. A physical, psychological, Endocrine break down is inevitable to a human body which is half way fit, partially fit, or not even fit at all. Being plain, a human body that is not fit both internally and externally will experience a breakdown. Sudden disease, sudden death or an abnormality can be in someway linked to a very poor fitness level. One good example is the development of excess stomach and a shapeless body in ladies who becomes physically unattractive because she is not fit. Here is an explanation that best describes being fit; It means to maintain a proper state of physical well-being, to improve the physiological state of the body, to improve physical appearance and slow down the aging process. A human body that is not subjected to intentional exercise and proper regulation would be short lived. Quickly we will do a depth understanding of the adverse effects of not being fit.

Depression

Depression is a mental response to bad health, stress being the major cause. Giving in to much work, labor, energy requiring tasks, without adequate rest, recreation in between those periods, stress is the result and too much of it will result into a break down and eventually lead to death. Stress aims its punches directly at the brain which hinders it functioning and when that happens, the remaining part of the body will follow suite since they are in one way or the other linked to the brain. A person suffering from stress will have this feeling of being drained of energy. This is the same thing that happens when a vehicle fails to ‘kick start’ or shuts down suddenly after it has started. A victim of stress will express one mood ‘depression.’ Depression on its own is a side effect of stress. Depression will strike an emotional imbalance in the mind. This imbalance in return will send signals back to the brain because they work hand in hand. The brain’s response to this signal is tiredness, forgetfulness, dizziness and other similar neurological problems.

Reasons why your first wealth is your health

   Today, It is now glaring that RALPH WALDO EMERSON  has not lied as far as his statement "THE FIRST WEALTH IS HEALTH." is concerned. If you are still in doubt how true is this statement of his,  here are few points out of many that show that HEALTH IS WEALTH.

        To start with,  no matter how wealthy you are,  it is nothing and useless if you lack the power button of all things "LIFE". Mind you, life is life when there is health. A person eats,  drinks,  moves, spends and invests only when there is life . If you have a bad health,  you are like a commercial bus that is always breaking down, "it will always debit its owner's account instead of crediting it."

        Secondly,  as we all know that energy is the power source of all human activities, anybody without adequate energy is like a living dead human. This is because many of the task you will  carry out will be like a bottled maize for hens.  i.e. You won't be able to carry them out at all  appropriately. Since no one can negate the fact that health pivots the energy we possess,  then it can be inferred that health is the bases of all our activities including wealth since wealth is not gathered without work.

       More so,  You can never calculate due to its importance,   the amount of money you save per day for being healthy. Only a sick person can tell you the typical cost of being healthy.  That is why   an adage says, Health is a crown worn by every healthy person but non knows its value except those that are sick.'' If a person is  admitted in the hospital for a year,  the bill paid for the bed space for that whole year is enough for an investment. If the money is given to a healthy person, he/she will make several millions from it.

        Furthermore,  in production, test as shown that healthy workers are more productive than non healthy workers. Even when put in the common sense , no  entrepreneur will wish to employ an ill health labourer in, for his/her factory as this may affect the factory's production. This is showing that being healthy is a foundation for hard work and hard work earns one income. So if you eat in a healthy condition, you can keep earning forever in your life.

        To cap it up,  only a healthy person will be creative. If the body is sick, the brain will have no other aims than to get out of the sickness. So,  creativity is not easily accessible when one is sick.
